Meet the Team Behind Lady of Learning
Trusted, English-Speaking Canadian tutors — carefully screened, police-checked, and dedicated to your child’s success.
Meet the Owner and Founder

Alexandra Stanczak
As the founder of Lady of Learning, I’ve spent the past eight years helping students in Grades 1–12 build confidence and raise their marks through truly personalized 1-on-1 tutoring. My mission is to create a warm, welcoming space where every child feels seen, supported, and understood.
We start by listening—pinpointing strengths and gaps—then tailor each lesson to the exact school curriculum, revisit difficult concepts, and move ahead when a student is ready. Parents tell us the difference is calmer study time, stronger grades, and a child who actually looks forward to sessions.
Based in Oakville and the Halton region, I lead a carefully screened, police-checked team of subject specialists who have completed the same courses and exams your child is taking. Together, we support core subjects including Math (from fundamentals to Calculus), Chemistry, Biology, English, and more—delivered in-home or online.
Meet Our Amazing Tutors!
All of our tutors are native English speakers with zero language barriers, personally screened, and police-checked. Each one is Canadian-educated, trained in the Ontario curriculum, and specializes in making complex concepts clear and approachable. Parents trust them, students thank them — and together, they deliver results.

He tutors students from Grades 1–12, bringing both subject expertise and a personal understanding of the challenges students face in high school.
Having once needed extra support himself during his own transition to high school, Dylan knows firsthand how the right tutor can transform a student’s confidence and results. That experience
sparked his drive to become a tutor who makes difficult concepts simple, approachable, and even enjoyable.
Parents value Dylan’s ability to connect with students on their level, while still pushing them to achieve higher than they thought possible.

Sofia (In-Person & Online)
Hello! My name is Sofia serving the Oakville Region, and I have a background in Health Sciences and Nursing, having completed my Bachelor of Science in Nursing at McMaster University. I first discovered my love for tutoring in high school, where I supported Grade 9-12 peers in math, physics, chemistry, and biology. During my undergraduate studies, I continued tutoring students in first- and second-year biology and chemistry.
I’ve always enjoyed learning about science and helping others, and tutoring allows me to do both! I enjoy breaking down concepts into easy-to-understand components and helping students build a stronger understanding of what they are studying. My goal is to make learning a positive experience and to support students as they reach their goals.
Alex (In-Person & Online)
Hi! My name is Alex and I am a University of Guelph graduate with a degree in Chemistry. I offer tutoring across all grade levels, with a specialized focus in STEM courses- Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and Math.
I know tackling new or complex problems can be a daunting process, but it doesn’t have to be.
I strive to provide a patient and benevolent atmosphere, and try my best to make learning a positive experience. Something that always made me appreciate my own academic path was being able to apply what I had learned to the world around me. Understanding the “hows” and “whys” of daily occurrences helped me to appreciate the little things, and develop into a more confident and upbeat person, which in turn helped me socially and academically. Together I hope we can foster a willingness to learn into a thriving passion for knowledge. I look forward to working with you!
Joseph (In-Person & Online)
Hello, my name is Joseph. I am currently pursuing a Computer Engineering degree at Toronto Metropolitan University, and I can tutor students from grades 1–12 in Math, Chemistry, Physics, and Programming.
Through my program, I’ve gained a deep understanding of Math, Chemistry, Physics, and Programming. But I still remember what it was like in high school when many of these concepts felt new and sometimes rushed. t wasn’t until I took more advanced courses, like linear algebra and calculus, that I realized how those small knowledge gaps filled in and made everything much more intuitive. For example, once I studied calculus in university, many physics problems suddenly became much easier to grasp. Some students pick things up quickly but struggle when material gets more complex. Others can memorize problem sets but find unique problems challenging. Some simply need a deeper conceptual
understanding before they feel confident to tackle problems. That’s why I believe tutoring is so valuable. All the knowledge is out there, but a tutor’s real role is to understand how a student thinks and adapt the teaching style to fit them.
I’m excited to share my passion for learning and help students discover that the concepts they once found difficult are not only understandable, but often much easier than they expected.
Kashaf (Online & In-Person)
Hello! My name is Kashaf, and I recently completed my Master’s in Molecular & Cellular Biology with a focus on Neuroscience. I have a background in Health Sciences from McMaster, which is actually when I began delving into tutoring. I have worked as a tutor and homework helper for Elementary school to High school students in various subjects, including Biology, Chemistry, Maths, and English. I have also worked with students from different cultural backgrounds, including those who were new to Canada and needed support integrating to academic and social life here. During my graduate studies, I worked as a Teaching Assistant for Biology and Chemistry courses, leading seminars and providing one-on-one support for students.
As a tutor, I do my best to adjust my teaching style to suit the student’s learning style. One of my goals is to work with students to identify areas they are struggling with or ones that need the most attention, and work together to improve their understanding of foundational concepts. From my experiences, I have learned that patience is important when it comes to tutoring and teaching.
